2013 has already been a busy year for Good People Brewing Co. having tripled their brewing capacity, expanded into Nashville and opened a taproom at the newly renovated Birmingham Airport. But, as we’ve noted plenty here at Craft Brewing Business, a brewery can only go as far as its marketing and branding strategy can take it. Now, in an effort to reach more of their customers, the Birmingham-based craft brewer has launched a redesigned website at http://www.GoodPeopleBrewing.com.
The new site and photography was developed by Lewis Communications’ Birmingham office.
Michael Sellers, founder and partner at Good People, said the new site is more visually driven and keeps the focus where it should be, on the beer.
“We really want people who may not have tried our beers yet to be able to learn as much about our brewery and our beer as they can online. It was also really important to update our site so it works as well on a smart phone or a tablet as it does on a laptop.”
Other improvements to the site include an improved ‘Beer Locator’ and Calendar of Events. Sellers attributes the need for the changes to meeting customer demand.
“One of the other things our customers have asked for is the ability to search our ‘Beer Locator’ so they can find specific Good People beers, like Snake Handler, Bearded Lady or Coffee Oatmeal Stout, in their area. The new site really makes it easy to find your favorite beer at the bar or store nearest you.”
Definitely head over to the Good People site and see what you think.
