Beer Institute releases January 2022 domestic tax paid estimate

This week, the Beer Institute published an unofficial estimate of domestic tax paid shipments by beer brewers for January 2022: The January 2022 estimate is 12,300,000 barrels or bbls, a decrease of 6.2 percent compared to January 2021 removals of 13,115,000 bbls. The February 2022 domestic tax paid estimate is scheduled to be released on March 30, 2022. First, let’s recap last year…
