Can your brewery be as sustainable as New Belgium Brewing?

March 31, 2014Keith Gribbins

In 2013, New Belgium Brewing Co. diverted 99.9 percent of its waste away from the landfill, and they’re still not satisfied. The company has a goal to both reduce water use per barrel to 3.5:1 by 2015 and to reduce CO2e per hectoliter of beer sold by 25 percent in 2015.

Whether it’s New Belgium’s Save the Colorado campaign or its impressive Sustainability Management System, the company is one of the top in the industry for its commitment to eco-friendly brewing practices. How does your company compare? Well, watch the video above and judge for yourself.
