Grab a craft beer and take a walk through NinkasiCon 2022

April 11, 2022Keith Gribbins

Ninkasi Brewing exudes one of my favorite brand vibes. I love its packaging and beer art. I totally dig the atmosphere of The Ninkasi Better Living Room (I want a Tricerahops!). Plus, the Ninkasi name — Sumerian goddess of beer – you’ll never forget it. I also enjoy the Ninkasi brand because they’re a bunch of cool comic book kids. A whiles back, Ninkasi Cofounder Jamie Floyd expanded his love of comics with an actual title on Dark Horse — Legend of Ninkasi: Rise of Craft! It follows Goddess Ninkasi, Tricerahops, Jamie Floyd, Nikos Ridge and other characters in the pursuit of delicious craft beer. Check it.

Ninkasi Brewing recently continued its journey into comic book craft brewery. Saturday, March 26, its Eugene, Ore. headquarters hosted NinkasiCon 2022 inside The Better Living Room. NinkasiCon featured an artist alley, vendor booths, special guests, a Legends of Ninkasi panel, photo ops, live music and what looks like a ton of fun. In complete Ninkasi fashion, cosplay was encouraged. You can see it all in the video above. Looks like an awesome time.
