SABMiller animation breaks down brewing Big Beer

March 4, 2014Keith Gribbins

SABMiller is very big. The global brewing Goliath has more than 200 beer brands (from Miller Genuine Draft to Grolsch) and some 70,000 employees in more than 75 countries, brewing and distributing millions of barrels of beer. Perhaps they’re annoying large, but SABMiller does a nice job of really simplifying its vast brewing and distribution process in this simple, three-minute animated video above. It connects the beer enthusiast with the process of making beer in an interesting way. We’d like to see some of our craft brewing cousins do something similar (has anyone?). We find explaining the unique process behind craft is part of its charm for customers. Just don’t use a pretentious-sounding English beer baron to narrate.
