Watch: Presidential candidate John Hickenlooper, cofounder of Wynkoop Brewing and former Colorado governor, releases a political beer commercial

July 24, 2019Keith Gribbins

John Hickenlooper announced his bid for president of the United States on March 7 at Wynkoop Brewing Co. The former geologist, Wynkoop co-owner, restauranteur, Denver mayor and Colorado governor has been called the complete opposite of Donald Trump. I could see how that might seem very attractive to some folks, but what’s really interesting about Hickenlooper is that he’s also a centrist that might actually be able to bridge the political divide between two diverging parties. He’s also got personality. Enjoy this just released commercial where he qualifies his credentials in both beer and politics. Then go read about this guy. You’ve barely heard his name mentioned, and he should be on your radar.
