API Heat Transfer

The Craft Brewers Conference and BrewEXPO America is the biggest event of the year for the craft beer industry. There’s a lot to see and do, and to help you navigate it all, we present this #CBC2019 preview series. The 2019 BrewEXPO takes place at the Denver Convention Center from April 8 to 11.

API Heat Transfer | 3057

API Heat Transfer designs and manufactures heat transfer equipment with exceptional performance and long-term reliability. In the brewery industry, the company’s SIGMA plate heat exchangers are used for a variety of applications, including pasteurization, wort cooling, yeast cooling and dealcoholizing systems. The advanced thermal technology of API’s SIGMA equipment enables it to transfer a large amount of effective heat in a small footprint, thus saving cost and space.

API is also an innovator of dealcoholizing systems for beer.

Non-alcoholic beer offers unique and new potential for craft brewers as different flavors and aromas can be created. The API system has also been used to make THC-infused beer. API’s Schmidt SIGMATEC design is available in capacities from 3 to 100 hl/h and can produce 0.0 percent beer that maintains the inherent flavors, aromas and colorization of brewed beer.

The SIGMATEC equipment uses a patented vacuum rectification process that is preferred by leading craft brewers due to its ability to separate the beer’s natural aromas along with the alcohol. After alcohol removal, the beer’s natural aromas are then reintroduced into the non-alcoholic version to help it regain its original beer essence.

API Heat Transfer is one of the largest full-service producers of industrial heat exchangers and heat transfer systems worldwide. To speak with a heat technology expert about the right solution for your brewery, visit booth 3057 or e-mail apiheattransfer.com.
