KHS AG is among the leading suppliers of filling and packaging systems in the world, offering filling lines for glass and PET bottles, kegs and cans. We saw a lot of cool KHS equipment at the Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America last March, including the Innofill Glass Micro DPG. This is a complete multi-functional filler system of the highest class.
With its new Innofill Glass Micro filler, KHS contributes toward meeting the ever-increasing demand worldwide for low- and medium-capacity fillers. With the Innofill Glass Micro DPG, KHS offers an ideal system for producing smaller outputs. With craft beer, this pneumatically controlled filling system offers brewers cutting-edge precision technology with flexible application capabilities. In contrast to the Innofill Glass DPG (up to 75,000 bottles/hr), the Innofill Glass Micro DPG is ideally suited for filling capacities of up to 20,000 bottles/hr.
This bottle filler is available on request with various capacity stages as a single machine or mono-blocked with a bottle rinser. KHS’s ECO vacuum pump additionally enables brewers to noticeably reduce energy and media consumption (always a plus).
What about maintenance? Well, little maintenance effort and high machine availability are the hallmarks of KHS glass bottle fillers. With the help of quickly replaceable return gas tubes, the machine can be changed over to various bottle sizes in no time. There’s also multiple evacuation and purging with CO2 to ensure low oxygen pickup coupled with low CO2 consumption. This is also a practical unit. All sequences of the Innofill Glass Micro DRS are automated and all processes are documented and are reproducible for brewers at all times. Learn more by watching the video above.
