PTG Water & Energy showcasing CHP, wastewater disinfection system at CCBA

May 18, 2015Chris Crowell

PTG Water Energy

PTG Water & Energy (PTG), an innovator of onsite power generation and water process technology for commercial use, will showcase its advanced combined heat and power (CHP) and wastewater disinfection system at this week’s California Craft Brewers Spring Conference, May 18 and 19 in San Diego.

The PTG team told us that this is the system that Twisted Manzanita has just installed to slash its electricity bill by more than 50 percent and reduce its natural gas costs by more than 70 percent. The brewery also benefits from the availability of thousands of gallons of hot water — essentially for free.

“All the craft brewers interested in PTG’s technology are eager to insulate their operations from rising energy and water processing costs, and we can help them on both fronts,” said Greg Ryan, CEO and co-founder of PTG. “The combination of energy self-generation, the availability of hot water as a cost-free by-product, and protection from blackouts and brownouts — these are all extremely compelling benefits for craft brewers of all sizes.”

PTG’s electric self-generation and water-processing systems are sustainable, reliable and safe. And they are easy to integrate into existing brewing processes. Be sure to check out their website.
