Silversun Technologies offers cloud solutions for craft breweries

May 29, 2013Keith Gribbins

Headquartered in Livingston, N.J., SilverSun Technologies can help transform the way your brewery runs using software and cloud-based business management solutions created specifically for the craft brewery industry. The company’s already helping a lot of big names grow their brands. Since the beginning of 2013, SWK Technologies Inc. (SilverSun Technologies’ principal operating subsidiary) has welcomed an additional 16 new customers to its growing client base of companies benefiting from its proprietary series of cloud-based business craft brewing solutions.

SWK’s most recent customer wins include the likes of: Milwaukee Brewing Co.; Roadhouse Brewing Co.; Rock Bridge Brewing Co.; Carson’s Brewery; Kalona Brewing Co.; Two Brothers Brewing Co.; Wild Wolf Brewing Co.; and Fifty Fifty Brewing Co. (among others).

“It is mission imperative for us to bring to market proprietary turnkey solutions that effectively address the unique business management challenges of high growth, niche industry sectors, such as craft brewing,” explained Mark Meller, chairman and chief executive officer of SilverSun. “By discovering opportunities to pioneer intelligent, easy to use tools and technologies and couple them with high touch customer service, fast implementations and expert training, SilverSun and SWK are well poised to empower companies in often overlooked or underserved industries with an entirely new level of operational excellence and performance.”

In late March, SWK unveiled BeerRun 4.0. Version 4.0 enables graphical timelines of orders, batches and fermentation tanks, production planning with load balancing and inventory requisitions, real-time changes in packaging, product costing information and government reporting (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau) functionality and more.

Marketed as BeerRun, BrewPub, BrewX ERP (the latter powered by Sage ERP X3) and the Distributor Relationship Management System, these robust solutions provide brewmasters and their distributors with a single, turnkey database batch/process solution capable of managing their manufacturing and distribution operations with greatly enhanced efficiency, productivity and cost reduction.

In late March, SWK unveiled BeerRun 4.0 at the annual Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America, held in Washington D.C. Version 4.0 has made BeerRun more functional and intuitive for the end-user, which helps deliver a better and more seamless experience. Among other features, it enables graphical timelines of orders, batches and fermentation tanks, production planning with load balancing and inventory requisitions, real-time changes in packaging, product costing information and government reporting (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau) functionality.
