Summit Brewing’s new canning line rocks out most convincingly

July 21, 2014Keith Gribbins

It’s worth watching this video for the awesome, cheese-filled rock gem that plays in the background, personalized for Summit Brewing Co.’s new canned craft beer. NYC-based musician Abstract Artimus (who occasionally enjoys beer with his cereal) wrote this jingle for Summit’s six-pack 12-ounce cans of Extra Pale Ale, Sága IPA and seasonals like Frost Line Rye, Maibock, Summer Ale, Oktoberfest and Winter Ale, which will all be available in cans. Summit’s new canning line began churning out 12-ounce aluminum cans around Memorial Day. Summit pioneered craft beer in Minnesota in the mid-1980s and today is the country’s 23rd-largest craft brewer as measured by sales volume, according to the Brewers Association. And, as you can clearly see by watching the video above, Summit’s new $3 million-plus canning line is ready to rock the market with quality, canned craft beer for all. Cue the wicked guitar solo.
