Tsurumi Pump’s process equipment help brewers develop efficient and cost-effective wastewater management plans (CBC preview)

September 8, 2021Pretty Much a Press Release

Tsurumi Pump will display its comprehensive line of process equipment at the 2021 Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America in Denver, taking place this week (September 9-12) at the Colorado Convention Center. Tsurumi will occupy booth number 2907. Breweries typically create around three gallons of wastewater for every gallon of beer produced. As facilities face regulations on how much wastewater can be discharged to local wastewater plants, Tsurumi’s process equipment can make a significant impact on helping brewers develop an efficient and cost-effective wastewater management plan.

The company will feature a wide array of products designed to handle small plant wastewater inflows created in the beer brewing process, such as aerators, mixers and agitators. Tsurumi will also feature information on other equipment that aim to support brewers in running an efficient operation, such as fine bar screens that can filter out grain and any other solids that can come through the brewing process.

“Treating wastewater is a crucial component of any brewery, and our products have had great success in smaller craft breweries all around the world,” said Glenn Wieczorek, managing director of Tsurumi Pump in North America. “Tsurumi Pump offers a complete line of well-engineered process equipment and pumps ideal for supporting this fast-growing industry.”

Tsurumi’s booth will feature several lines of products, including:

  • MR Submersible Mixer
  • TRN Submersible Aerator
  • VANCS Series Sewage and Wastewater, Corrosion-Resistant Pump
  • HS2.4S Portable Manual Trash Pump

Senior staff will be at the booth offering expertise on products and discussing strategies for successful applications with attendees.

“We offer well-designed products that effectively handle the pretreatment of wastewater before it is discharged into municipality systems,” Wieczorek said. “Our process equipment is customizable and can be easily assembled on-site.”

The 38th edition of the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America is the largest tradeshow of its kind in North America and brings the latest in technical brewing resources, education and business development opportunities. The event claims to be the “ultimate one-stop shop” for brewers looking to connect with other industry professionals and vendors.
