During the BrewExpo America, Ziemann presented its newly designed dome top made of weather-resistant plastic material. Due to this material, the dome top is extremely robust and very user-friendly.

The Brewery C. & A. Veltins GmbH & Co. KG (Veltins) has placed an order for its brewhouse project with Ziemann International GmbH, Ludwigsburg. As part of a replacement investment Ziemann will integrate a total of three lauter tuns with a diameter of 8.500 mm into the existing brewing lines and will integrate them into the control system.

The brewing lines will be gradually updated, while production continues. This means that the respective brewing line is shut down and the lauter tun is integrated. Ziemann will install the first lauter tun in October 2015, the second lauter tun will follow in March 2016 and the project will be completed in October 2016.

The integration of the lauter tuns into the existing building represents a particular challenge in this project.

“Thanks to the close cooperation between the team of the C. & A. Veltins brewery and our engineers, we have quickly found a tailor-made solution for this challenging project,” explained Thorsten Schwanzer, Sales Director Western Europe at ZIEMANN. Moreover. “The fact that we have jointly implemented many successful tank projects certainly was another positive aspect.”
