Don’t worry about the dramatically changing craft beer industry, just enjoy these adorable gifs I made of Shipyard Brewing’s Pumpkinhead Pete

Yesterday was so dramatic. New Belgian Brewing Co. announced its sale to Japanese food, beverage and everything else giant Kirin. We wrote a story equating big beer volumes to vanity in today’s ultra-competitive beer market. My kid tantrum’d for like 10 minutes because I served him his yogurt incorrectly. It was very emotional for everyone involved.

But today is a new day, and on this day I created a bunch of dumb gifs of Shipyard Brewing Co.’s Pumpkinhead Pete. It seemed like the appropriate next step. The famous heritage craft beer brand from Portland, Maine, recently released a bunch of short videos focused on beer/cocktail mixology with its Pumpkinhead brand, and whoever plays Pete the mascot in these vids cracks me up. So, let’s not worry about things we can’t control for a second and enjoy Pete getting boozy with these adorably mindless gifs.
