Efficient infrastructure is imperative, so let us introduce you to polypropylene piping systems

December 3, 2020Keith Gribbins

Glycol to beer can flow through these.

For craft breweries, infrastructure is essential — even more so during the pandemic when brewhouse production and packaging capability have become key to survival with on-premise business dwindling. Increased efficiency in this beer manufacturing process has become increasingly welcome with budgets growing lean, so here’s a clever way to increase both efficiency and quality — polypropylene pipe.

Polypropylene represents a significant upgrade from metal pipe such as copper or steel. Specifically, Aquatherm’s green and blue polypropylene piping systems, which are connected by heat fusion, are virtually leak-free and ideal for glycol lines (its initial introduction to brewing applications a decade ago). But Aquatherm piping systems are also ideal for domestic water, heating and cooling, reclaimed water, carbon dioxide lines and even beer.

Polypropylene Piping offers a number of significant advantages over metal pipe in brewery applications. To learn how polypropylene pipe can help your brewery operations, click this link to download the new whitepaper we’re housing on the subject. Then watch this video.
