Last chance! Sign up right here to win some free Bekina Boots (we’re giving away 25 pairs)

April 13, 2022Keith Gribbins

I’ve got a pair of Bekina Boots — green StepliteX SolidGrips like you see above — and they’re constantly strapped to my feet. I not only write about brewing, but I also operate and analyze construction equipment. My Bekinas are perfect for the spring slop on construction jobsites right now. They’re great in snow too. I used my Bekina Boots all winter — warm feet, no slippage — to shovel snow because I refuse to get a snow blower. In fact, I just donned my now-always-mud-crusted Bekina SolidGrips to do a pre-Easter egg hunt this past weekend with my four-year-old boy. We scored so many eggs.

You too, CBB reader, can own a pair of Bekina Boots, giving you the needed traction and safety to score more of life’s eggs in your basket. We’re giving away 25 pairs in our Win a Pair of Wellies giveaway (sign up here!). Bekina actually has boots specifically focused on the brewing sector with its StepliteX SolidGrip and Steplite EasyGrip brands. Dig the company’s brewing boot Amazon page.

Let’s start with traction in the brewhouse. Both of these Steplite brands are SRC-tested, meaning they are highly slip resistant yet flexible for maneuvering on tanks or machinery. Progressing with safety, both the Steplite EasyGrip and StepliteX SolidGrip come with varying levels of safety certification (04, S4 or S5) and the option of steel toe caps. These are high thermal insulation boots that can handle temperatures as low as -4°F (EasyGrip) to -22°F (SolidGrip), but they are also not heavy, which makes them stand out. Bekina Boots are made with a high-quality polyurethane called Neotane, which the company notes is 40 percent lighter than rubber or PVC, with high thermal insulation value and better longevity than rubber and PVC. These are lightweight waterproof boots, offering optimal traction even on wet and oily surfaces, without feeling like two cinderblocks are wrapped around your hooves.

These boots also come in a bunch of cool colors from yellow to blue to green and orange, so you can ensure some flair around coworkers.

It is an international manufacturer specializing in durable safety boots for the brewing, distilling, food processing, agricultural, fishing, construction, and industrial sectors.
