Did you miss Savor: an American Craft Beer and Food Experience this past weekend? You are a straight up buster. There might not be a better event and venue in this solar system for craft beer aficionados and foodies. At Savor, some 90 small and independent breweries from around the country showcase 181 beers, each one thoughtfully paired with a small plate to bring inspiring flavors to palate. The event is housed in the great hall of the majestic National Building Museum in Washington, D.C., which also makes it one of the most elegant beer festivals in the world. We once again sent our D.C. pals the Hartogs from Rocket Frog Brewing Co. to recount their experiences at the big event. That story will post Wednesday. Till then, enjoy our photo blog — photos courtesy of Jenn Showell-Hartogs — and then realize your shame for not attending.
