Watch: Try syncing this Ardagh beer bottling video to this wicked electronic opus by Orbital

March 9, 2020Keith Gribbins

Orbital, an English electronic artist known for excellent acid house. Ardagh Group, a global manufacturer of glass vessels, including skillfully crafted beer bottles. What do they have common? Only this post, I presume. As I scoured the internet for interesting video work released last week I came across this new Ardagh Group video above, which starts off with some cool imagery of hot glassy beer bottles being made.

At the exact same time, “The Box” from Orbital cued while my YouTube was on mute and the product video above turned into a haunting art film. I embedded “The Box” below so you can try. It’s a novel way to get to know both Orbital and Ardagh, as the video spins into the latter’s craft beer services highlighting cool offerings like the Vision4Glass process.

In the United States alone, Ardagh Group Glass-North America operates 13 glass facilities and a state-of-the-art distribution center, employing 5,000. So how can such a big company seem approachable for a craft brewery looking to bottle their beer for distribution? Check out the video above, while pumping wicked beats by Orbital.
