Friday Fun: Inside Dogfish Head’s scrapple brewing

December 18, 2015Jason Morgan

Anytime you can take an inside look at Dogfish Head’s brewing process and dive into the demented brewing brain of Founder and President Sam Calagione, it’s a good excuse to put work aside. Hit play on the video above, from Munchies, and soak it all in. Sure, we showed up for the brewing of Dogfish Head’s scrapple-infused beer, but we stayed because of Calagione’s enthusiasm and creativity for not just brewing, but the craft beer business he’s grown from the ground up. Just listening to him talk about his brewing beginnings and his vision for Dogfish Head, you know that this is the kind of guy you’d charge into brewing battle with, or at least join on a midnight flight to Tijuana for Mexican tattoos and tequila. He’s a guy who can get things done and have some fun along the way. Check out our collection of Dogfish Head Brewery stories for more inspiration.
