Hey, American craft brewers: Keep kicking ass!

July 3, 2014Jason Morgan

Hey, American craft brewers, it’s almost July 4, when the entire country takes the day off to bask in the glory of how awesome we are. Sure, there are a lot of reasons to tout your American pride this year, but in the Craft Brewing Business office, there’s one reason that towers over all others: American craft beer.

Let’s face it, American craft beer is the best beer in the world. How do we know? Oh, maybe it’s the growing industry that boasted the largest Craft Brewers Conference this year. Or maybe it’s the boom of craft beer exports. Perhaps, it’s the rise in homebrewing popularity that will surely usher in the next generation of American craft brewers that will continue to blow our minds with outstanding beers.

Every time you turn around, there’s another craft beer story in the news. Near-weekly news stories promote the growing local craft beer phenomenon, like this one out of New Jersey:

Boom.

How about the U.S. Embassy in Vienna, Austria, rubbing elbows with with the Austrian-American Chamber to promote U.S. craft beer?

Boom!

Craft beer invading a spinning class? Why not?!

BOOM!

You hear that, America? That’s the sound of craft beer fireworks exploding your taste buds with the innovative use of malts and hops. So, when you’re firing up the grill and knocking a few back this July 4, take a moment to thank our craft brewers from the local brewery down the street to that one you’ve been meaning to visit across the country.

Enjoy your day off, our brewing brethren, because we know that you’ll be back at brewing bad-ass beers on July 5, and we can’t wait to try them.
