AHA homebrew recipes go head to head for the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is at the heart of American culture, and only one beverage can be found sloshing at the depths of this ridiculously big sporting event — beer. While the Super Bowl is often known (beer-wise) for its vapid, sappy-licious commercials that involve Clydesdales, puppies and tough, but heartfelt bros who love Budweiser, this year the American Homebrewers Association hopes to draw your attention to the real up-and-coming stars of beer — homebrewers.

In honor of next Sunday’s big game, the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) has a new competition for beer lovers to get into. The AHA has pitted two special homebrew recipes against each other — one from Washington and the other from New England — for fans to brew and ultimately decide the Homebrew Super Bowl victor. Both recipes have earned gold medals at the AHA National Homebrew Competition, i.e. the Super Bowl of Homebrewing.

Which homebrew recipe will be the Super Bowl victor? We need your help in deciding. The recipes and poll can be found here: www.homebrewersassociation.org/news/homebrew-recipes-go-head-head-super-bowl. For Christ’s sake, vote for once in your life.
