Beer Institute releases February 2020 domestic tax paid estimate

Now that you are spending more time at home, perhaps this is your best opportunity to find posts about beer taxes interesting. Let’s test your muster: The Beer Institute recently published an unofficial estimate of domestic tax paid shipments by beer brewers for February 2020. The February 2020 estimate is 11,350,000 barrels or bbls, a decrease of -0.7 percent vs. February 2019 removals of 11,431,000 bbls. More revealing will be the March 2020 domestic tax paid estimate, which is scheduled to be released on April 21.
