Big Beer consolidation to benefit craft brewers?

July 8, 2014Jason Morgan

NBC News recently reported that consolidation within the beer industry is coming. The good news? They’re talking mostly about the big brewers that already make up a majority of the market share. Big Brewers like Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors operate on a global scale. According to the NBC News report, domestic beer drinkers are turning to higher-price point beers like craft beer and imports, as the Big Beer market share continues to shrink. Check out the video above for the market overview and insight into the valuation of Boston Beer.
