The Portland Hop in the Saddle guide includes five beer routes, details 20 breweries and 10 detailed cue sheets.

The passion for craft beer and biking is intersecting in exciting new ways for enthusiasts of sport and suds. Bike tours are popping up in Texas and Cleveland’s Nano Brew and Fort Collins, Colo.’s New Belgium Brewing Co. proudly display their biking interests on their logos. Now a Portland, Ore., hotel is bringing bikers and brewers together with the introduction of its “Hop in the Saddle” program.

The Jupiter Hotel now provides all the necessary tools to enjoy Portland’s world-renowned brewery and bicycling destinations, including: bike, helmet, guide book and overnight accommodations. Portland is home to breweries like Deschutes, Full Sail Brewery, Pyramid Brewery and Upright Brewing Co. To get bikers started, the Jupiter Hotel provides a bucket of Rogue Ales and a copy of Hop in the Saddle — which includes five beer routes, details 20 breweries and 10 detailed cue sheets.

“No worries if you enjoy the brews a bit too much,” says Al Munguia, general manager of the Jupiter Hotel. “We will help arrange for a cab ride back to your cozy hotel room if needed.”

For more details, check out the Jupiter Hotel website.
