BREWD craft brewery management software adds CRM in latest update

January 30, 2018Chris Crowell

customer relationship management

BREWD, by Fermented Labs, is a relatively new but intriguing application for craft breweries to manage their business better, and the team just sent word that its latest update includes a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functionality. This includes the following: Advanced searching, address mapping, customer calling, running customer notes, and aggregated customer activity.

Meet the features

The address mapping and customer calling features are especially useful when on the road. Users can use their phones and instantly get guidance to the customer location. Additionally, the new customer calling feature enables a sales or delivery person to quickly contact a customer without having to dig through their phone’s contacts app. The new customer notes feature allows anyone within the organization to add notes on a customer account and see a history of previous notes. Additionally, notes are available right from the order detail. Activity provides a single location to see orders, keg deliveries, keg returns, and even line cleanings if it is enabled.

“Having customer order history, keg history, and CRM capabilities available in the same place is fantastic for distribution departments of any size”, said Eric Selander, Sales and Distribution Manager at Confluence Brewing Co. “BREWD is my one-stop-shop for keg tracking, invoicing, and customer relationship management! It keeps getting better and better.”

BREWD launched with a focus on the sales and distribution aspects of brewing, but also came up with this handy, free, hop contract management tool.

If interested in a free 30 day trial of the full platform, head here. The fully responsive web platform works equally well on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops.
