Craft Brewing Business celebrates 10th anniversary in 2023. Is your brewery turning 10 this year? Tell us.

Anniversary celebrations are big in craft beer. Cruise through the news archive here on Craft Brewing Business, and you’ll see all kinds of anniversary celebrations over the years. Heck, as you’re cruising through those archives (what, you’re not doing everything I say?) you’ll see all kinds of other news, analysis, insight and weirdness. You’ll find those archives go back a ways — TEN YEARS, in fact.

Yea! That’s right, loyal CBBer. Eleven years ago, five b2b publishing pals wanted to run a site of their own and create content for an industry they cared about. On Jan. 4, 2013, the first-ever post appeared on craftbrewingbusiness.com. (Fun fact: we nearly called it CHUG! Media. Oh, what could have been).

And by god, amid several new day jobs, marriages, births, and miscellaneous unhealthy lifestyle choices, these same five four  friends partners are still CHUGging along 10 freaking years later, running a national-award-winning craft beer business site.

[Pausing for applause]

Jokes aside, it feels cool to acknowledge, and we quite literally couldn’t have done it without all of you …. which is why I thought it might be cool to celebrate a few of you who’ve been at this just as long.

Any readers out there hitting their 10-year brewery anniversary in 2023? Tell us your story.

Drop me a line at [email protected] and tell me a little bit about your brewery …

  • What’s changed over the last 10 years?
  • Key turning points or decisions to note?
  • Are you making any changes to prep for the next 10?

Would be cool to get some initial responses by Jan. 31. We’ll think of a way to share them / co-celebrate still being alive this year.
