To some, St. Louis is an Anheuser-Busch town. To Deschutes Brewery, it’s a town needing a serious injection of world-class craft beer. To that point: Deschutes recently announced that it will begin servicing St. Louis, St. Charles and Lincoln Counties in the St. Louis area starting immediately with the distributor awesomely known as Major Brands.

“We’re excited to partner with Major Brands for our continued success in St. Louis,” remarked Deschutes’ Stacy Denbow, business development director. “We have always had tremendous support from the craft drinking community there since launching a few years ago, and we look forward to ‘re-launching’ our brands with this respected partner.”

Major Brands will be distributing Deschutes Brewery’s damn tasty beers including Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Black Butte Porter, Fresh Squeezed IPA, Obsidian Stout, Inversion IPA, Pinedrops IPA, as well as new seasonal offerings and variety packs.

Major Brands is Missouri’s largest Missouri-owned distributor of premium wine, spirits, beer and nonalcoholic beverages, with offices in Cape Girardeau, Columbia, Kansas City, Springfield and St. Louis. It serves more than 9,000 customers throughout the state. It began operations in 1934, following the repeal of Prohibition and celebrates its 82th anniversary this year.
