Our pals at Craft Beer Professionals are launching the inaugural Virginia Beer Day on Thursday, August 14, 2025, to celebrate Virginia beer, connect with beer fans, and support the future of the craft beer industry through education.
“Virginia Beer Day gives breweries and fans the opportunity to be part of a statewide celebration of Virginia beer while also supporting scholarships that further the education of those who help make our industry a success,” said Andrew Coplon, founder of Craft Beer Professionals.
Breweries can learn more and sign up to participate here.
Virginia Beer Day plan
On Virginia Beer Day, participating breweries will offer an exclusive pint glass featuring original artwork from a Virginia-based designer. The limited-edition glass will be available for purchase in taprooms across the state while supplies last.
$1 from every glass sold will be donated directly to fund scholarships for the 2025 Virginia Brewers Conference, helping beer professionals across the state gain access to vital educational and networking opportunities.
2025 design contest winner
Virginia Beer Day is thrilled to announce Tianna DaCosta as the winner of the 2025 design contest. Her artwork will be featured on limited-edition pint glasses available in taprooms across the state on Thursday, August 14. Tianna DaCosta is an illustrator and designer influenced by nostalgia, video games, and street art. Her work blends bold lettering with playful character design and visual storytelling. Based in Virginia, Tianna is a freelance artist whose projects include logos, book covers, comic illustration, and more.
