Fireman’s Brew expands Southern California distribution

February 11, 2014Chris Crowell

Fireman’s Brew, a Los Angeles-based craft beer company founded by two firefighters, announced a partnership with Crest Beverage to distribute its beers throughout San Diego County. With the addition of Crest Beverage, Fireman’s Brew continues to strengthen its distribution network throughout Southern California, adding Crest to a roster of distributors that includes: Allied Beverages, Mission Beverage and Haralambos Beverage. Together these partners will now provide distribution of Fireman’s Brew handcrafted beers from Santa Barbara County down to San Diego County.

“We’ve been searching for the right distribution partner in San Diego for some time and are thrilled to be teaming up with Crest Beverage,” said Rob Nowaczyk, founder of Fireman’s Brew. “I can’t wait for craft beer fans throughout the County to get their first taste of an ice-cold Fireman’s Brew.”

“As a craft beer hub, San Diego has always been a strategic priority for us,” added Roger Baer, chief executive officer of Fireman’s Brew. “We’re excited for the opportunity to partner with one of the county’s largest distributors to help build the Fireman’s Brew brand throughout the market.”

Already one of the fastest growing craft beer brands in Los Angeles, Fireman’s Brew newly expanded distribution network provides an opportunity for the company to reach thousands of new on-premise and retail outlets throughout San Diego County. Through the agreement, Crest Beverage will distribute Fireman’s Brew signature beers in 12-ounce bottle six-packs, twelve-pack samplers and kegs.

Fireman’s Brew is committed to giving back to the firefighter community upon which it was founded by donating a portion of company proceeds to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation – the nation’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to honoring fallen firefighters and providing assistance to their surviving families.
