Founders Brewery and Grand Rapids Visitors Bureau collaborate on clever video

January 8, 2013Keith Gribbins

You can tell Mike Stevens and Dave Engbers have a genuine intensity for brewing craft beer. How? Just watch them. The co-founders of Founders Brewery are always ready and willing to get in front of the camera or talk over the phone about their specific specialty brews or the craft industry in general. In fact, CBB is set to talk with Engbers this week about our Beer of the Month (porters), managing growth and the challenges of a new brewing business (Founders definitely had its hurdles when it started).

The video above is a great example of clever, grass roots marketing that Founders uses to promote its brand, while seeming like easy-going, blue collar beer lovers. The video is a collaboration with the Grand Rapids visitors bureau. If available, we suggest that all craft breweries contact their local visitor bureau. It’s a great way to market their products, breweries and restaurants to incoming traffic. This video is an outstanding example. Enjoy.
