Funky Buddha shares 2016 release schedule in cool infographic

March 9, 2016Chris Crowell

Florida’s Funky Buddha Brewery is one of our favorite breweries based solely on its marketing and branding (we’ve never had one its beers. Hint hint). We especially enjoyed its insight in this What does your tasting room say about you? article, that discussed the brewery’s expansion and its focus on the culinary experience.

“Funky Buddha has always been known for its culinary approach to beer, and now we’ll finally have a kitchen to match,” said KC Sentz, co-owner of Funky Buddha Brewery. “The ability to incorporate quality food and beer together will just complete the tap room experience for our customers.”

Funky Buddha knows what it is about and is building that experience into their physical location, through design and staffing. Craft Food Counter & Kitchen will be helmed by Jeff Vincent, a South Carolina native and veteran head chef who most recently brought acclaim to the fantastic Beauty & the Feast inside the Atlantic Hotel on Fort Lauderdale beach. Vincent’s menu will combine farm-to-table ethos with upscale street food. Everything will be made in house, utilizing local ingredients as well as the beers themselves.

Anyway, Funky Buddha announced its 2016 release schedule recently, which included a new year-round beer and a whole year’s worth of entries in the “Little Buddha Small Batch” series. All of that is pretty great, but pretty greater was the brewery’s presentation of the information. Here it is, for your files:

The new beer is the Hop Stimulator Double IPA, which will join Hop Gun IPA and Floridian Hefeweizen as the third of Funky Buddha’s flagship beers. Generously hopped with Amarillo, Centennial, Citra and Cascade hops, Hop Stimulator boasts intense passionfruit, grapefruit, orange peel and pineapple aromas with a crisp, balanced malt body. It also has cool art work:

2016 will also see Funky Buddha grow its “Little Buddha Small Batch” series of beers. This culinary-inspired line of brews will feature such coveted and anxiously awaited beers such as Wide Awake It’s Morning (Imperial Maple Bacon Coffee Porter), Muy Bonita Apple Pie Double Brown Ale and Don’t Tell Reece Peanut Butter Cup Ale. Available in 22-ounce bombers and on draft, these beers will see a release in Funky Buddha’s tap room and in distribution across the state of Florida.
