Grow ’em long: The best beards in craft beer

March 15, 2013Jason Morgan

Craft beer beards grow
Besides awesome beers, brewers also craft awesome beards. Check out the Best Beards of Craft Beer Finals to see some of the industry’s finest displays of manliness.

Flipping through the pages of Craft Brewing Business (CBB), you may notice a growing trend among craft brewers. Ok, besides the beer. We’re talking about beards. Mighty beards. As mighty and bold as the brews their wearers create. CBB knows a thing or two about beards — all of us have sported a manly mane in our day, and two of us still keep it real with facial hair. But we don’t live as large as some of the most amazing craft brewer beards.

The fine folks at CraftBeer.com called on Brewers Association members to send in their best beard pics. The natural moustache, the imperial partial beard and the Verdi are all well-worn in CraftBeer.com’s slide show, which rival those seen at the World Beard and Moustache Championships. The craft beer beard Finals is under way.

From CraftBeer.com:

With your help we’ve narrowed our search for the Best Beards of Craft Beer down to 20 of the finest and fuzziest faces. Now it’s up to you to pick the crème de la crème by voting for your favorite.

So grab the closest beard style guide, and head over to the Best Beards of Craft Beer Finals to vote for your favorite brewer beard. Voting ends on Sunday, March 17. You might even be inspired to start growing your own beard.
