Pass or Fail? Handle This Cup beer sleeve and handle carrying system

January 19, 2015Keith Gribbins

Let’s not exaggerate, but holding your beer is an art — especially after you’ve had a couple. A dapper craft drinker should really keep beer spillage to a minimum, but sometimes social adventures make that challenging. The worst of the worst is holding that plastic cup you gotta lug around at public venues and events. For starters, they spill everywhere — why did you buy three, exactly? They make your hands cold, and your sweaty meat hooks make them slippery and warm. Why has god forsaken all that is holy and sacred in this land?

Luckily, the folks at Handle This Cup aren’t waiting for god. They think they’ve figured out a solution.

Handle This Cup is an innovative sleeve and handle carrying system designed to take all the stress and party-killing hassle out of carrying your beer in plastic cups. Made of lightweight, high-impact plastic, Handle This Cup securely holds virtually any sized plastic cup and prevents the heat transfer from your hands to your drink, so your beverage stays cold to the last sip. Best of all, Handle This Cup’s handles interlock so you can carry (nest) as many cups as you want!

Is this an awesome idea or inessential accessory? Let us know if you think this product is pass or fail, and then decided whether you’d like to support its creation at the Handle This Cup Kickstarter (just visit the page right over here). I say pass, because I’m a buffoon when carrying anything. While we’re at it, someone should also make this for real.
