Having issues with TTB’s Permits Online? Maybe try this

November 12, 2018Chris Crowell

The Alcohol Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) sent out a bulletin late last week because of how many users have been having issues with the new Permits Online, including:

  • The inability to continue to the next page of an application,
  • Being unable to scroll on a page, and
  • Pages freezing and eventually timing out.

TTB is pretty sure these users are accessing Permits Online with a faulty search engine result or are using an older bookmarked website address where the “www” is not included as part of the website address or URL (and apparently this might matter).

“We are actively working on a fix that will redirect users to the correct website address, but in the meantime if you use the following URL you should avoid these problems: https://www.ttbonline.gov/permitsonline is the direct URL, or you may also access Permits Online from the www.TTB.gov homepage.
