Here’s the deets on the fourth annual New England Craft Brew Summit (March 1 in Portland, Maine)

February 7, 2019Pretty Much a Press Release

New England Craft Brew Summit logo For the fourth year in a row, the Maine Brewers’ Guild will bring more than 500 craft brewing professionals from across the region together for a day of learning, collaboration and networking. The 2019 New England Craft Brew Summit will take place on March 1 at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland, Maine. Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are still available for this sell-out event.

Once thought of as a cottage industry, a recent economic impact study showed that Maine’s craft beer industry contributed more than $260 million to the state’s economy in 2017 and the business of beer has been growing across the state and region.

“Brewers are opening a diverse range of businesses across the state from small tap rooms to large-scale brewing facilities,” said Sean Sullivan, executive director of the Maine Brewers’ Guild. “The concerns of our brewers are as diverse as their business models, and with more than 50 presenters, this conference gives everyone a chance to come together and learn from industry leaders.”

Presented by Bernstein Shur, this year’s conference will focus on how to continue the industry’s positive momentum and foster growth by strengthening brewery operations, exploring technical brewing topics and offer best in class customer experiences. The full-day conference will feature informative presentations and panel discussions from experts in the craft beer industry, with topic titles ranging from the ‘Do’s and Don’ts of Equipment Procurement,’ to ‘The Tourism Economy and Your Brewery,’ to ‘Current Trends and Oppotunities in Malt.’

The 2019 New England Craft Brew Summit is expected to draw more than 500 brewery professionals from across the region and will feature new opportunities for vendors and exhibitors. Registration for attendees is open and individual tickets may be purchased at https://www.nebrewsummit.com/register/.
