Maui Brewing invites you to learn about grain and malt tomorrow morning

June 16, 2014Keith Gribbins

Maui Brewing Company
Surf’s up: Enjoy this fine selection of Maui Brewing Co. beers while you’re at the school.

First off — if you’re in Maui on this Monday morning — then well played. Secondly, if you have time, stop by the Maui Brewing Co. brewpub tomorrow morning (Tuesday, June 17 at 11:30 a.m.) as the company’s beer school series explores the diverse use of grain and malt as an ingredient in brewing beer. The brew crew will introduce attendees to the origins and varieties of grains used in brewing, talk about the malting process as well as how different grains and malts come together to offer colorful palettes of flavor and create the backbone to every glass of beer.

The admission price also covers the tasting of Maui house beers to showcase an understanding of the flavors, nuances and mouth-feel of this ingredient. The brewpub is excited to offer light food pairings along with the tasting presented by our Beer School partner Whole Foods Market. Together, attendees will explore how food and beer can synchronize for the ultimate experience.

Call the pub to sign up for this session — 808.669.3474 — space is limited.
