Some cool things about: Arryved’s POS system for breweries

As the effects of COVID-19 continue to impact the craft beverage community, breweries, cideries, meaderies, and distilleries are using creative new ways to weather the storm spurred by weeks of mandated closures, limited capacities in establishments and changes in consumer habits.

Enter Arryved — the creators of the innovative point-of-service based software designed with taprooms in mind. Since March, Arryved’s development team has provided these businesses the safety of touch-free ordering, mobile payment, and online ordering to boost to-go sales. This has paid off, with as much as 20 percent of revenue generated by Arryved’s customers now coming through use of online and app systems: roughly $1.5 million in transactions per month during the height of the shutdown.

“Since we launched our online store, we’re up 75 percent compared to where we were this same time last week,” said Brian Cendrowski — Arryved user, and Co-Founder and Governor of Fireforge Craft Brewery. “Customers have really responded positively to the convenience of placing orders online without having to call in.”

Since 2016, Arryved has focused on mobility, simplified solutions for issues like splitting and merging checks, customizable menus, dealing with network outages, and better tracking tools to create the best guest experience possible.

“We’re a Swiss Army Knife kind of platform,” says Alexandra Ostler, Arryved’s Head of Marketing. “We have a fully mobile point of sale, e-commerce, contactless ordering and payment, QR code-based menus and table pay, a mobile app, and more.”

Some cool things

  1. Arryved is a Point of Service created specifically for the craft beverage experience. Open, fully mobile and scalable tab system gives guests the opportunity to explore and adventure throughout the space, regardless of if it is a small counter service taproom or a multi-level multi-experience establishment, online or on-premise. It grows and scales based on the needs of the day, week or time of year.

In addition, easy tap management, inventory and deposit tracking, built in digital menu, built in loyalty hands free payment options are just a few of the many features Arryved has created to support the fast-paced and fluid “own-premise” experience.

  1. Cost – Arryved offers one affordable price for all services (both existing and new products) rather than their competitor’s more predominant a la carte offerings. Customers know, and have been the recipients of, numerous existing product enhancements, and completely new product rollouts, at zero cost to them, now or ever.
  1. Users – Over the past five months, the number of establishments using Arryved has grown over 25 percent.  Craft beverage establishments continue to transition to Arryved, even through the peaks and valleys of Covid-19. Additionally, over 60,000 craft beverage patrons are using their phones to pay through Arryved’s mobile app.

By consistently rolling out new products and upgrading existing ones, the Colorado-based company has become a valued ally to the beverage community. In a time when innovation, passion, and nimbleness are lifelines for members of the craft beverage community, the Arryved team plans to continue to lead the way.
