These cool aluminum railings can protect brewing equipment from visitors, tours and rogue equipment

September 25, 2018Pretty Much a Press Release

People need boundaries. Sometimes physical ones.

Deep in the heart of Russia (Russia, Ohio), Superior Aluminum Products is an industry leader in the manufacture of aluminum railings and fencing and aluminum and fiberglass columns. Why might this concern you? Well, Superior’s Series 500 is a non-welded aluminum pipe railing that can help protect both equipment and visitors during brewery tours.

This decorative railing is strong, durable and maintenance free, according to Superior, and meets OSHA, ADA and ICC safety criteria. In addition to providing boundaries during brewery tours, Series 500 railing protects brites, hot kettles, fermenters and other equipment within its boundaries from wayward forklifts, hand carts and other material handling equipment.

Concealed fasteners allow for a smooth surface and create a clean, contemporary design. The series is also available in standard heights of 32, 36, 42 and 48 in. with custom heights upon request. Pre-assembled sections up to 24-ft can be shipped factory-assembled or knocked-down for reassembly.

Posts and top rails for pipe and pipe picket railings are assembled to run in continuous lengths. This is a stronger design than cast tee and cross connections, according to Superior, and it also provides a continuous smooth top rail surface. Pipe pickets are factory assembled with a tight drive-in-fit to the top and bottom rail to ensure squareness and rigidity. Finishes available include baked-on enamel, anodized or duranodic, in white, light brown, green, sandstone, tan, almond, satin anodized, dark bronze and black.

Superior Pipe and Pipe Picket Railings are factory assembled and made to customer specifications. Special curves or pipe radius can easily be fabricated to suit application requirements, yielding on-site fabrication savings. These products are easily assembled on site with no welding.
