Very good idea: Fargo Brewing puts available rescue dogs on Original Lager cans

Fargo Brewing Co. came up with an arf-inspiring idea for its not-for-profit event 4 Luv of Dog Rescue. Shout out to Northern Plains Label for helping make this possible. From the brewery’s Facebook event post:

For this event we packaged our Fargo Original Lager into 6 packs of cans where each individual can is labeled to highlight a different “Oneder” Dog! These Oneder dogs are special pups who have had a particularly hard time finding their forever home.

Some of these dogs, while being great with people, have a hard time socializing with other dogs and therefore don’t get to come to foster puppy meet & greets which makes it difficult for people to get to know how great they really are! For this event we ask that you please leave your pups at home and give these Oneders a chance to shine on their own!

It’s our hope that through this event we can raise a little awareness about these “one”derful pooches and hopefully find them homes of their own!
Proceeds from this event will benefit 4 Luv of Dog Rescue so please come join us in support this very worth cause for paws!

4 Luv of Dog Rescue is an independent dog rescue in Fargo, ND devoted to rescuing and rehoming dogs. The rescue was founded a strong desire to save dogs who were doomed to be euthanized in local animal pounds.
Most of the dogs are in foster homes with some staying at the shelter. Foster homes are preferred as they provide valuable insight into the dog’s personality to help us better match the dog with a perfect home. There are many expenses incurred in caring for these dogs (pull fees, boarding fees, vaccinations, spay/neuter, vetting, dog food, transportation, advertising). We rely on adoption fees, fundraisers, and donations to cover our expenses. It is not uncommon for a dog’s adoption fee to be less than the expenses incurred while caring for the dog. Every little bit helps so we hope that you can come and give just a little bit of your time and support 💜🐶
