Victory Brewing Co. to expand its cheese game

September 12, 2014Chris Crowell

Victory Brewing Cheese SpreadsTwo local Pennsylvania companies joined forces to create the ultimate in cheddar cheesy, craft beer goodness. Victory Brewing Co., the popular Philadelphia-area craft brewer, and Key Ingredient Market, a producer of fresh dips and spreads, introduced three cheddar cheese spreads that blended specialty Wisconsin cheddar with best-selling Victory beer brands.

The cheddar spreads were so well received in the original Whole Foods Markets in Northern New Jersey, New York and Western Connecticut that the gourmet grocery store will now carry the product at locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and Ohio.

Retailing at $6.99, Victory Cheddar Spreads merge the fresh, quality ingredients and long-standing traditions of both companies to create interesting flavor profiles for cheese and beer advocates alike. Flavors include HopDevil Cheddar Spread, Headwaters Cheddar Dip and Golden Monkey Cheddar Spread.

“Our collaboration with Key Ingredient Market has been so well received, not only by Victory fans but also new customers who value wholesome, high-quality delicious foods,” said Bill Covaleski, Victory president and brewmaster. “We are thrilled to ‘spread’ our love of craft beer and artisanal food products to more regions, especially those close to home.”
