Watch: Learn to properly clean beer glasses and maintain your dispensing system with two free webinars from Micro Matic

October 7, 2020Keith Gribbins

Micro Matic is a beverage dispensing expert. The company is a major supplier of draught beer equipment in more than 120 countries throughout the world, so it’s safe to say it’s an authority on draft beer systems.

Occasionally, Micro Matic releases cool videos focused on beverage dispensing education. Earlier this year, we featured Micro Matic’s 10 key elements to building a professional-grade draft beer system, from keg storage to a 14-day cleaning cycle. Here’s a great Micro Matic vid on bringing hibernating draft beer systems back online. Right over this way, learn the eight major valve and coupler systems on beer kegs, so you can actually tap that draft.

In the last few months, Micro Matic has released two more cool educational modules focused on serving beer — successful dispensing system maintenance and how to properly clean beer glasses. David Green, dispense division trainer from Micro Matic, handles both deftly.

In the webinar above, Green provides guidelines for ongoing dispensing system maintenance to assure the best consumer experience while minimizing lost revenue due to downtime and foam waste. There’s the two-week line cleaning process, recirculation line cleaning procedure, quarterly, semi-annual and annual maintenance protocols and lots more.

In the video below, learn best practices to make sure your operations are preparing both beer clean and pandemic clean glassware. Topics covered include sink systems, automatic glass washers, glassware tests, conditioning with glass rinsers and lots more. Enjoy.
