Watch: Meet the characters that make Bell’s Eccentric Café a must-visit beer and entertainment destination

October 7, 2019Keith Gribbins

“We want to make sure that we put a face to a company that’s so big and so broad all over the United States,” says a staffer in the skillfully produced video above, focused on showcasing the folks behind Bell’s Brewery’s Eccentric Café in Kalamazoo, Mich. Bell’s hometown brewpub is more than just a watering hole, and maybe its pedestrian exterior masks the awesomeness that waits inside — 20+ draft options, a full-service restaurant, a luscious beer garden, great patio, state-of-the-art music venue and a highly talented staff.

To match the beer, the food is top notch, offering locally sourced, primarily non-GMO and sustainable ingredients, made from scratch to complement your breweski. Just around the corner is Bell’s General Store where you can buy beer-to-go (including growlers) and stock up on merch. The Back Room concert venue is absolutely rad. Just look at these concerts, and dig all the upcoming shows right over here. Plus, you can book the Back Room venue for your corporate events, wedding or just so that you might have 20 taps all to yourself. Double plus, you can take a tour of the brewery to complete the experience.

But like the video above indicates, it’s the great people as much as the cool vibes and great eats and drinks that make Eccentric Café a bucket list destination for almost any beer drinker.
