Whoa. Can’t stop watching this snow’daciously cool Sam Adams 3D projection aerial show

March 27, 2017Keith Gribbins

Never heard of Sam Adams 3D Air and Après Show Tour. Hmm, I guess I only act like I know everything. But watching the short video above and below, this event is an absolute chuggernaut. Dig this formula: A) world-class, Olympic-caliber ski and snowboard athletes; B) Hollywood-quality 3D mapping projection on the white slopes; C) aforementioned super athletes performing ridiculous tricks on snow slopes with awesome projections over it; and D) live music and a variety of Sam Adams craft beers afterwards. The next and last event (there were only three) is at Big Sky Resort in Montana on Saturday, April 1.

Now enjoy this insanity:

On March 18 (that video is at the top), Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway, N.H., hosted the second ever Sam Adams 3D Air and Après Show Tour (“après-ski” is a French term for the fun that specifically occurs at snow resorts “after skiing”). The events typically kick off at noon with a Sam Adams team demonstration (meet the team here), then a 3D projection show later on (maybe like 7-ish), fireworks and an athlete meet and greet and after party with Sam Adams craft brewskis. Scotty Lago, 2010 Olympic snowboarding bronze medalist, is one of the riders. This is definitely some big-ass marketing that kicks you straight in the eyes. Well done here, Sam Adams.

Now, who wants to car pool to Montana?
