Yuengling to reenter Rhode Island after 24 year wait

May 27, 2014Chris Crowell

D.G. Yuengling & Son Inc. announced a distribution move into the state of Rhode Island. C&C Distributors Inc., owned by the Mancini Family, have been appointed to distribute the Yuengling portfolio of beer brands in the state.

yuengling Rhode Island“On behalf of the entire staff at C&C Distributors, the Mancini family is proud and honored to represent the Yuengling brands for the state of Rhode Island. We are excited to bring the Yuengling story of heritage, authenticity, quality and family to the Rhode Island Retailers and consumers,” stated Ken Mancini, president.

The initial rollout is targeted for June and will include Yuengling’s flagship beer, Traditional Lager as well as its award winning Yuengling Light Lager, and Black & Tan brands. This expansion is a long awaited return to the state after scaling back in the 1990’s due to supply limitations. Rhode Island will become the 16th state in the brewery’s footprint.

“It’s been a long time but we’re really excited to return to Rhode Island. Consumers have been patiently asking and we’re now ready to satisfy those demands, adds David Casinelli, COO at Yuengling. “We are very much looking forward to our new partnership with the Mancini family to meet everyone’s expectations he adds.”
