Check out the new cans from Blue Blaze Brewing

Blue Blaze Brewing is releasing its first ever cans today in its taproom (check out the beauties above). The cans — initially for distribution in North Carolina and South Carolina — will come in 16-ounce 4-packs  — both Black Blaze Milk Stout and Yellow Blazer Kölsch-style Ale styles.

“Cans make a lot of sense for outdoor adventures. Cans are very light and packable, don’t break easily and are more easily recycled than bottles,” said Craig Nunn, Blue Blaze Brewing president and co-founder.

Sven Giersmann, brewer and co-founder, said: “Canning was naturally the next step for Blue Blaze. Our Yellow Blazer Kölsch and Black Blaze Milk Stout have become very popular among our customers. Both beers are easy to drink and have sessionable ABVs.”

Later in 2017, Blue Blaze will expand canning to its other flagship products: Blue Blaze Altbier Amber Ale, Amber Blaze Amber Ale and Double Blaze Black IPA. Craft beer fans can look forward to finding Blue Blaze cans throughout North Carolina and South Carolina starting February 27.
