MicroStar Logistics, a leading diversified keg solutions provider, has begun its latest investment in keg quality and has broken ground on a major expansion of its flagship Keg Quality Services Center. The 105,000-sq-ft Green Bay facility will provide world-class keg repair and maintenance services for brewers ranging from startups to the largest in the world.

“This expanded and upgraded facility supports the beer industry’s commitment to quality,” said Geoff Fisher, MicroStar’s VP of operations and quality. “For over 40 years our Keg Quality Services team has fine-tuned a remarkable set of tools and techniques to keep kegs looking and working like new while extending the life of these valuable assets. Now with more room to work, expanded access to tried-and-true equipment and the addition of new leading-edge quality resources, our team is positioned to expand our role as an operating partner for brewers large and small.”

This facility expansion is MicroStar’s latest addition to its quality menu joining investments in Local Quality Managers, state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and on-site keg and valve repair. All of this is being done to help brewers improve efficiency and ensure proper keg filling and cleaning.

Founded in 1996 and based in Greenwood Village, Colo., MicroStar’s Keg Management division leverages two pools of kegs — KegCraft-branded kegs for midsize brewers and MicroStar-branded kegs for large brewers — to deliver cost-effective outsourced keg solutions. MicroStar’s Quality Services division, formerly a Tosca company, is the leading keg repair and maintenance operation helping to maintain the quality and lengthen the lifespans of some of the largest keg fleets in the world.
