September 30, 2014Chris Crowell

Distributing acquired the rights to the Mispillion River Brewing brand in Delaware. Mispillion River Brewing, brewers of Beach Bum Joe, a silver medalist at the 2014 World Beer Cup in the Belgo-American Ale category, and Reach Around IPA, have made a name for themselves in Delaware for the variety of draft beers they have brewed. In the 10 months they have been opened, they’ve brewed more than 90 different styles of beer. They began distributing many of their beers in Delaware in January 2014, and they will now be joining the N.K.S. craft beer portfolio, which contains Sam Adams, New Belgium and Evolution.

“We made the decision to go with NKS Distributing because their philosophy matched ours,” said President Eric Williams. “They offer the best service in the industry, employ an incredibly professional staff, and fulfill their mission in a manner that recognizes how important the quality of our beer is to us.”

N.K.S. has already begun to distribute Mispillion River Brewing beers and they will be available throughout Delaware.
