Morris Distributing has been named the official sponsor and host of Sonoma Raceway’s new Nor Cal Craft Beer Garden.

Sonoma Raceway’s fans can enjoy some of Northern California’s most iconic craft beer brands when they visit this summer, as the raceway welcomes Morris Distributing as an official sponsor and host of its new Nor Cal Craft Beer Garden.

The new fan amenity, located in the main paddock, will be featured at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NHRA Sonoma Nationals and GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma IZOD IndyCar Series events. Some of those brands will also be available at the new “Taps” beverage location at the north end of the Main Grandstand.

The beer garden will feature some of Northern California’s most popular craft beers, ales and hard cider, including: Bear Republic (Healdsburg, Calif.); Anderson Valley (Boonville, Calif.); Lost Coast (Eureka, Calif.); North Coast (Fort Bragg, Calif.); Ace (Sebastopol, Calif.); and 101 Brewing (Petaluma, Calif.).

The craft beer garden will feature up to 24 different alcoholic beverages on tap, as well as brewmasters from the participating brands who will be on-hand to chat with fans and answer questions.

“Some of the finest craft beers in the world are brewed right here in the North Bay and now our guests will be able to enjoy those great brands as part of their event experience in Sonoma,” said Steve Page, president and general manager of Sonoma Raceway. “This fits perfectly with our efforts to feature delicious, locally-based food and beverage in everything we do at the raceway.”

Morris Distributing, one of the largest specialty beverages distributors in the San Francisco Bay Area, will also become the Official Craft Beer Supplier of Sonoma Raceway.

“Morris Distributing is excited to partner with Sonoma Raceway and Levy Restaurants, leaders in their respective industries. Attendees at all events for the next two years at Sonoma Raceway are now able to enjoy the finest craft beers and ciders available in the world,” said Kevin Peterson, general manager at Morris Distributing. “We encourage fans to come by the craft beer garden and taste these amazing products and learn more about them from the brewers who may be present. We also urge everyone to drink responsibly.”
