New Belgium Brewing Co. will begin distributing beer throughout Alabama as of January 27, 2014. The “Yellowhammer” state will be New Belgium’s 36th state of distribution. Initial offerings include Fat Tire, Ranger IPA, Spring Blonde (seasonal), Snapshot Wheat, Shift, Trippel and the Lips of Faith Series. The rollout will feature 12- and 22-ounce bottles, 12-ounce cans and draft.

New Belgium announced partnerships with:

Supreme Beverage (Miller/Coors) Northern Ala.
Gulf Distributing (Miller/Coors) South Western Ala.
Allstate Beverage (Miller Coors) South Central Ala.
Premium Beverage (Miller/Coors) East Central Ala

“We interviewed a lot of great wholesalers in the area, and we’re very excited about where we’ve landed,” said New Belgium’s Southeast Regional Sales Director Jeff Sipes. “We look forward to making new friends, learning new things and contributing to Alabama’s thriving beer and food scene.”
