New pressure sensitive labeling materials from Avery Dennison debut at #CBC2017

April 3, 2017Chris Crowell

Stop by booth #6223 at the Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America where Avery Dennison Label and Packaging Materials will be featuring new labeling materials that meet the unique needs of craft brewers, including solutions for bottles, cans, crowlers, growlers, kegs, tap handles and more.

But wait, there is more: Meet Harvey Shepard, author of the blog and book, Oh Beautiful Beer, and learn why pressure-sensitive labeling is a compelling solution for craft beer.

Compared to glue-applied, pressure-sensitive labels allow brewers to have bolder graphics, unique shapes, lower order quantities and faster speed to market. The Avery Dennison Craft Beer portfolio consists of paper and film materials with adhesives that stay on surfaces with heavy condensation, giving brewers the freedom to tell their brand story and stand out on the shelf.

At the show, Avery Dennison will be showcasing the benefits of both pressure-sensitive and shrink sleeve solutions for cans. The company will also be sharing the results of its study, “Measuring the Impact of Label Materials on Craft Beer Purchase Decisions,” tracking how label materials impact purchase decisions in the ever-competitive craft beer industry.

The Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America is the No. 1 event of the craft beer year (April 10-13), and we want you to be ready to see all of the cool new stuff on the trade show floor. We asked exhibitors to tell us what they will be showing off, and we turned those submissions into these handy CBC Previews. See you in D.C.
